We are a team of three sisters: Moira, Me-z, and Rosie. We’re wine lovers and started Nomen to change the wine industry for the better! We’re doing this by using sustainable packaging and practices, representing women’s work, and introducing adventure into the traditional wine tasting experience.

Our earliest memories involve the sights, sounds, and smells of the vineyard. When we tell people that we grew up on a vineyard and spent our summers working in the vineyard and winery, the usual response is something like “wow, what a dreamy childhood”. But it was filled with tough work, early mornings, a lot of dirt! We also found pride in our work and today, every sip of wine brings back memories. Cabernet Sauvignon brings reminds us of the summer we planted the whole hillside with new baby vines. Planting days started at 5AM in freezing 40 MPH winds and usually ended in the late afternoon in the 95-degree heat, so those memories really stick with us!

Working in the wine industry, we encountered countless inspiring examples of women crushing it behind the scenes. We want to honor the incredible women who shape our world and often go unrecognized. That's why each label on our bottles represents a woman working in a different industry. When you look at our bottles, we want you to feel supported, empowered, and celebrated!
